Enavate Solution Architect Shares Lessons Learned From PCL Project

When PCL Construction decided to move its configuration and master data from Microsoft AX to Dynamics 365, they called on ENAVATE to help guide the transfer. The project, which required extensive customization, took 18 months, involved 40 developers, architects, business analysts and project managers. It was a complex project that provided plenty of opportunity for real-world learning.

Next month, ENAVATE Sales Solution Architect Eugene Tsuprenko, joined by Kaare Boraas, PCL relationship manager, will share the wisdom they gained with participants at User Group Focus, to be held in Houston, March 11-12.

In two sessions, they will provide a case study of the project and cover several keys to assuring project success, including

    • Team structure for the project
    • Process, including requirements collection by BAs and SMEs, backlog creation, backlog elaboration, development, testing, and deployment.
    • Dynamics 365 and Azure infrastructure including: environment topology, deployment and builds, data management (gold configurations and data automation), and integration process

User Group Focus provides an opportunity for concentrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform learning through 90-minute, deep-dive, advanced-level sessions presented by technical and functional experts.
