Where NAV stands today
Mainstream support ended in January 2023. Extended support — security patches only — runs out on different dates
depending on which version you're on. NAV 2016 reached end of life in April 2026. NAV 2017 follows in January 2027. NAV 2018
is the last supported version and runs through January 2028.
The situation requires urgency and a plan, not panic.
That means you need a partner who'll tell you what's actually at stake and plan around your timeline.

Three ways to work with us on NAV
Whether you're staying on Dynamics NAV, tuning what you have, or planning the move to Business Central, we meet you where you are.
Keep NAV running well.
Responsive support from people who know NAV at the code level. Bug fixes, integrations, customizations, year-end help, and coverage for the gaps Microsoft no longer fills.
Get more out of what you have.
Performance tuning, reporting upgrades, workflow cleanup, and integrations that make Microsoft Dynamics NAV work the way your business actually runs. Useful whether you migrate next year or the year after.
Plan the move on your timeline.
Data, customizations, reports, integrations — we move what matters and leave what doesn't. You keep running. Nothing breaks on cutover day.
We've made this move enough times to know how to avoid the breaks.
Customizations that look simple until you try to move them. Reports that reconcile in Microsoft Dynamics NAV but not in Business Central. Integrations that need rebuilding, not porting.
Our team has decades of NAV and BC experience, some of it inside the Microsoft product group that developed BC off of the NAV solution. We put that history to work on every migration plan for you without leaving you guessing what comes next.
What you get from us:
- Engineers who know NAV and BC at the architecture level
- Fixed-scope, predictable pricing — not "all or nothing"
- Migration plans tied to your business needs
- Support that’s there for you

Versions 2016, 2015, 2013, and 2009 are no longer supported.
Version 2017 Ends January 11, 2027
Version 2018 Ends January 11, 2028
Can I stay on NAV past end of support?
Yes, your NAV solution will continue to work past the end of support, but your risk increases. Risk of security breaches, system breaks that result in downtime, audit issues, and more all increase when you are unsupported.
How long does a NAV to Business Central migration take?
With Enavate’s proven Xcelerate migration packages, you can make the move to Business Central in as little as 12 weeks.
Will my NAV customizations carry over to BC?
When we assess your NAV system, we’ll look at your customizations and work with your team to discover what needs to be carried forward and what processes can be adapted for improved efficiency in BC.
What happens to my reports and integrations?
Some you can bring with you to BC while others we will help to rebuild or replace better than before with modern solutions that will adapt with you over time. We will help you assess your current reports and integrations and make recommendations before you decide on a project plan.
Can I switch partners without starting from scratch?
Switching partners does not need to be painful. Enavate can get to know your system with a 5-minute assessment of your NAV solution and a conversation about your business. From there, you can take advantage of Enavate’s expertise in supporting your NAV solution and moving you forward.
